Dr. Paulina Varas participates as a researcher in the curatorial project “Talking to Action. Art, Pedagogy, and Activism in the Americas” of the OTIS College of Arts and Design as part of the Pacific Standard Time LA/LA program, Getty Foundation, Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Paulina Varas participates in the Chilean team of the research project on 20th-century art documents “The ICAA Documents of 20th-century Latin American and Latino Art Digital Archive” of the Museum of Fine Arts of Houston.

Dr. Paulina Varas participates in a research project with art historian Francisco Godoy, “Move the Border”, thanks to a research grant from the Foundation for Arts Initiatives.

Dr. Paulina Varas and Creative Campus academic and architect José Llano participate in the international research project “Logistical Worlds.” The project directors are Brett Neilson and Ned Rossiter of the Institute for Culture and Society at Western Sydney University.

2016

Dr. Marcelo Vizcaíno is awarded the funds of the National FONDART Contest for Research in Architecture, with project Nº 406477 “Santiago en proyección: catalogación y valoración de antiguas salas de cine.”

Dr. Tomás Errázuriz participates in the research team that was awarded a FONDART Regional research grant for Cultural Heritage (folio 422300) from the Council for Culture and the Arts. The project is entitled: “Catastro y rescate de la vivienda rural del valle central. Arquitectura, Patrimonio e Identidad”. The project is directed by architect Felipe Alarcón, who is also a professor at the Creative Campus.

Dr. Paulina Varas participates in the regional FONDART research project “Activismos artísticos” Folio nº90384 for research in visual arts. The project was led by researcher and sociologist Javiera Manzi. This project involved three visual arts students from the Creative Campus in their disciplinary practice.

Dr. Paulina Varas is currently executing the regional FONDART research project “Luz Donoso, el arte y la acción en el presente” Folio No. 45229, for research in visual arts, for which she is the lead researcher.

Dr. Paulina Varas participates in the national FONDART research project “Archivo Guillermo Deisler: Catálogo Digital” Folio nº 85812 for research. The project is directed by researcher Soledad Pozo.

Dr. Paulina Varas participates in the research project of the Red Conceptualismos del Sur, on the archive of the Colectivo de Acciones de Arte (CADA) with the support of the Foundation for Arts Initiatives.
